Systems/Network Administrator

Full Circle Partners are looking for a talented, diligent, and proactive System Administrator to  maintain, and improve IT systems within a diverse organization for an 18 month fixed-term contract.

You will:

  • Ensure the accessibility and security of IT infrastructure for new and existing users
  • Conduct installations, configurations, and upgrades
  • Manage servers and other components within the network
  • Provide support and troubleshooting assistance
  • Be proactive about system performance, issues, and outages
  • Maintain high standards of security and confidentiality and assist in critical incident responses
  • Assist in on-boarding new staff
  • Contribute to organisational protocols, procedures, policies and training
  • Stay on top of documentation, manuals, inventories, and asset management
  • Provide an expert opinion on areas of improvement and innovation for IT infrastructure within the organisation

Skills:

  • At least 2 years experience as a System Administrator or equivalent role, particularly in a Windows environment
  • Strong experience in networking and cyber security
  • Experience working with a wide variety of desktop/business applications
  • Experience with Hyper-V, Failover Cluster Manager Palo Alto Network, Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti Systems, Microsoft Office 2016, Office 365 Administration (Exchange, Sharepoint, OneDrive), MYOB, ISO 27000, NIST (or equivalent),  Incident Response Plans are all strongly preferred
  • Relevant tertiary degree or equivalent qualifications/working experience
  • Ability to prioritize multiple workloads and deadlines
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills, with an outgoing, professional and ‘unflappable’ demeanor to communicate with non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with Linux environments, ITIL, project management methodologies, IT budgets & projections, and backup & storage are all very beneficial
  • Microsoft Administration certifications are strongly preferred

Additional information:

  • Due to the business critical nature of the organisation, we will require occasional flexibility around working hours to fit in with critical upgrades, or if emergency situations arise
  • A suitable candidate will need to be able to obtain an Australian Police Clearance
