Knowledge Management Specialist

The Knowledge Management Specialist will operate within the Operations Transition Planning and Support team to execute responsibilities across the development and implementation of Governance, policy, strategy, framework, processes, people & systems to initiate, analyse, plan, and train.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Service Desk and L2 to identify ‘shift-left’ opportunities and implement agreed CI improvements
  • Implement process & procedures for Non-IS&T articles (starting with HR)
  • Implement reporting, compliance & monitoring for Non-IS&T articles (starting with HR)
  • Implement regular operational meetings for Non-IS&T articles (starting with HR)
  • Implement training materials and training (RTTMS) ITSM Evolution Programme (IS&T)
  • Work with Service Desk and L2 to identify ‘shift-left’ opportunities
  • Support ServiceNow Technology Project, SIAM & Service Desk
  • Implement reporting, compliance & monitoring for IS&T articles (starting with Service Desk)
  • Implement regular operational meetings for IS&T articles (starting with Service Desk)
  • Implement training materials and training (Service Now)

Experience Required:

  • Perth-based role with 5+ years relevant, specific experience
  • Pragmatic, practical consultant with specific, demonstrable experience implementing knowledge management processes in large commercial organisations, with a strong focus on the information systems & technology within organisations
  • Knowledge and skills in the practical application of ITIL and/or other relevant industry frameworks or methodologies
  • Implementation of ITSM Knowledge Management, with experience in information systems and technology, and a good understanding of application, technology & information management and governance concepts Leadership
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact in a team environment and foster relationships; ability to influence and prosecute business case and programme of work
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a team environment with high personal standards and expectation of high-quality outcomes and ethics & integrity standards
  • Must be able to work in a highly deadline-driven environment.
